Weekend Rewind Free Weekend

Hi Rewinders. I am having a Weekend Rewind free weekend. Apart from being exhausted from life, we have a busy line up this weekend (nothing too exciting I can assure you!). We have chooks to purchase and settle in, soccer 'grading', children's birthday parties, and a BBQ with friends to enjoy. Please stop by again next weekend when I will return for regular Rewind action. But before you go, tell us what you have planned this weekend?

How does one settle in chooks? Do you show them to the guest room, ensure they have clean towels and know where to find the bathroom? ;-)
Sounds interesting!

It's my birthday tomorrow, I'm having brekkie with my bestie in the morning, and then dinner with my men tomorrow night.

On Sunday, I'm back to the reality of uni assignments! Happy birthday to me. :-)

Enjoy your rewindless weekend! x

Having a quiet one, not much on for us except that Intn'l Man of Mystery departs to mysterious locations on Saturday night. He bemoans the travelling, I'm so envious, just at the very idea of settling into his big seat and being handed a glass of champagne. Life's all about the journey.

We have a kids party this afternoon and then tomorrow we are turfing Mr 2 out of the cot and into the bottom bunk. Mr 3 is going on the top bunk and Miss 5 gets her old bed back - she is very excited about it :). I just hope it all works well...

We are going to the MCA tomorrow, they say there is a great light exhibition there (even though there website says it's closed). That's if we can get up... a bit schooled out around here.

New chickens - how exciting!
I'm absolutely head over heels for our four gals, who have been with us now for 2 months. I love their warbling, their scratching and investigating; love how they can sit for ages on your lap while you give them a pat, and love how they come running when I call them, and will let me know if one of the eggs they've laid is about to be stolen (by bearded dragons or crows - cheeky buggers!) by frantic clucking and crowing.
They're such lovely animals to have roaming around in your garden - I'm sure you'll love them too.

Enjoy settling in your new additions and hoping that you're collecting fresh eggs very soon!
